“Mary Jane”
Mary Jane was the first puppy born from our first litter. She was named after my Grandma Mary who was born on Christmas Day. Although my first litter of puppies was due to be born on Christmas Day, their arrival was delayed because little Mary was blocking the pathway out, making a C-Section necessary to deliver her, her three sisters and one brother.
Mary has taken me places that I never thought I would go. At the tender age of 9 months, she won both Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Bred by Exhibitor our National Specialty in Texas in 2009. Two years later, she repeated these wins at our Specialty in Orlando. Her Championship came quickly, and soon after her Grand Championship. She bore a beautiful litter of four pups in June of 2012, then won Best of Opposite, as well as Best Bred by Exhibitor at the Eukanuba Dog Show in Orlando in December of 2013.
Mary Jane is now retired from the Conformation ring. We are working and showing in the Rally and Obedience Rings, and pursuing the new sport of Barnhunt. Field work is also in Mary’s future.
